Domaine du Kaegy in Steinbrunn-le-Bas is a remarkable site for a countryside seminar in Alsace.
Ideally located between Mulhouse and the Basel-Mulhouse EuroAirport in Haut-Rhin, Domaine du Kaegy offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere for both private and professional events. This 16th-century former flour mill was renovated in 2018 into a high-end villa that blends contemporary style with natural surroundings. Domaine de Kaegy has quickly become a top venue for business tourism in the Mulhouse area, hosting over 400 events since opening.
Set on a lush 1.4-hectare property, this Alsatian estate is available for exclusive hire with stunning spaces that can accommodate up to 120 guests. Its wide range of tailor-made services makes Domaine du Kaegy a perfect fit for all kinds of professional events: conventions, training sessions, team building, product launches, conferences, receptions, or incentive days.
Versatile spaces for professional events
The expansive 800 m2 villa includes several spaces to host important events for companies, institutions, and associations. The seminar room, tucked under the cosy rafters, is ideal for business meetings of up to 20 or 35 people depending on the layout. The lounge, with its exposed beams, is a modular space perfectly suited for both working meetings and evening events, accommodating 15 people for a meeting or 30 for a cocktail reception. Framed by floor-to-ceiling windows, the pergola invites guests into nature, creating a stunning space for dinners (up to 120 people), conferences (140 people), or cocktail parties for up to 150. The room can be heated or air-conditioned depending on the season.
Outdoors, a spacious tree-filled park and several terraces also provide areas to work in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
L’Éphémère, the restaurant at Domaine du Kaegy
From November to April, Domaine du Kaegy hosts its own restaurant: L’Éphémère. Chef Lino Dury, with a background in prestigious kitchens, brings a fresh take on French cuisine with a menu that highlights seasonal, quality ingredients. On Friday and Saturday evenings, the chef and his team welcome guests for fine dining in the elegant restaurant. On the menu: creative and authentic dishes inspired by regional recipes, from both Alsace and the chef’s native Pays de la Loire. A generous seasonal brunch is on the menu on Sundays.
All year round, Chef Lino Dury works to create menus and dishes to accompany your events. Pastries for a morning seminar, inventive plates for a business lunch or dinner, or savoury bites and tartes flambées for a cocktail event. A wide range of options are available, including vegetarian selections.
Choose Domaine du Kaegy for your next corporate event and treat your team to a charming setting that inspires connection.
