There is also a direct train to Paris’s Charles de Gaulle Airport, a gateway to the world.
Looking to arrive directly by plane? Strasbourg-Entzheim Airport serves major European hubs including Amsterdam, Madrid, and Istanbul. Upon arrival, a TER regional train connects to Strasbourg’s main train station, an 8-minute trip with four departures every hour.
Other options include Frankfurt Airport, connected to Strasbourg via the six daily shuttles of the Lufthansa Express Bus, and EuroAirport Basel Mulhouse Freiburg, less than two hours away.
Take it slow: by tram, by bike, or on foot
While in Strasbourg, take advantage of the eco-friendly transportation options. The Eurometropolis of Strasbourg boasts the largest tramway network in France with eight lines, several of them directly serving the Palais des Congrès – Parc des Expositions event venues.
