In the heart of the vineyards of Alsace in the small village of Wettolsheim near Colmar, the Château R hotel and restaurant is the perfect setting for your professional or private events.
Surrounded by vineyards and overlooked by the Three Castles on one side and Hohlandsbourg Castle on the other, Château R and its imposing four towers boast a neo-medieval spirit. Fully renovated by its new owners since 2019, Château R is available for private events. The venue plays the card of elegance, both in its facilities and in its culinary offerings.
Designed to host professional and private events, the hotel-restaurant has two reception rooms for business meetings, gala dinners, or corporate events.
Refined and creative cuisine
Its distinctive Caveau des Grands Crus reception room, featuring two large screens, can accommodate up to 200 people in a cocktail format. The garden is equipped with a marquee tent and can host up to 400 people for outdoor events. Starting in early 2024, Château R will offer another smaller reception room adjacent to the restaurant, suitable for hosting up to 50 guests.
Chef Antony Djeema, with experience from Villa K in Saint-Louis, offers a menu of creative and seasonal gourmet cuisine. The dishes highlight the terroir of Alsace, revisited with surprising flavours and paired with exceptional wines.
The hotel has eleven rooms and suites, some with terraces overlooking the vineyards, the Three Castles, or the Black Forest. In a modern decor contrasting with the exterior of the castle, the rooms exude luxurious comfort and refinement.
