Located in the city’s northern industrial zone, Colmar-Houssen Airport is primarily used for business and leisure flights, in addition to its aviation school, flying clubs, and high-flying activities.

In the heart of Alsace, Colmar Airport is a flexible alternative to other regional airports for your business travel. No regular flights are scheduled, the airport caters to charter airlines including Valljet, Globeair, and Netjets, or to brokers looking for flights for their clients.

A member of the Charter of French Business Aviation Airports since 2010, the airport is open all year round, with air traffic controllers on duty from 7:30 am to 9:00 pm. For operating outside these hours, a request can be made to the Société de l’Aéroport de Colmar-ADC, the public delegation management company of the aerodrome, and flight information service will provide aircraft information without clearance.
Two agents are also on site to guarantee the security of aircraft on the ground and to activate safety, rescue, or fire measures if necessary.

French business airport
Recognised as a “French Business Airport”, the aerodrome is open to national and international commercial traffic, private aircraft, IFR and VFR. Its paved runway measures 1,610 m long and 30 m wide. There are 30,000 yearly movements, or 50 landings and takeoffs per day.
In addition to its business activities, Colmar Airport is home to the Sky Academy flight school for obtaining a professional pilot’s license, and two flying clubs that train private pilots on both planes and helicopters. Fly For You also offers helicopter tours.

For a thrilling outing with colleagues, the aerodrome is a base for several associations and clubs: aeromodelling, gliding, powered flights, parachuting, ultralight aviation, panoramic helicopter flights, and sky diving.
